Hayes Hunt is a partner at Cozen O'Connor in Philadelphia, where he serves as chair of the firm's Sports Industry team and is a member of the Commercial Litigation Department and White Collar Defense & Investigations practice group. He specializes in representing corporations and individuals in high-stakes civil litigation, crisis management, and criminal defense matters, with experience handling cases involving shareholder actions, contractual disputes, Title IX, civil rights claims, political corruption, and health care fraud. His practice is informed by his prior experience as an attorney at the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where he represented indigent criminal defendants. Hunt earned his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His accomplishments include being named Pennsylvania Attorney of the Year by The Legal Intelligencer, selection as a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, recognition as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer every year since 2010, and consistent inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America.
