Distinguished Speaker: Judge Mia Roberts
Mia Roberts Perez is a United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, having been nominated and confirmed under Joe Biden in 2022 . She previously served as a judge on the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas from 2016 to 2022. Her legal career began as an assistant public defender at the Defender Association of Philadelphia from 2006 to 2010, where she gained trial experience representing indigent defendants . She then worked as an associate at Friedman Schuman in Philadelphia before founding her own firm, Perez Law LLC, where she practiced from 2011 until her election to the bench . Throughout her career as a litigator, she tried approximately 1,000 cases to verdict or final decision . Judge Perez earned her Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University in 2003 and her Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2006, where she also served as an adjunct professor teaching trial advocacy from 2011 to 2021 . Her accomplishments include being the first Asian American judge and the second Latina judge to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, receiving a unanimous "well qualified" rating from the American Bar Association, and serving on the Judicial Conduct Board of Pennsylvania by appointment of Governor Tom Wolf.

Distinguished Speaker: Hayes Hunt
Hayes Hunt is a partner at Cozen O'Connor in Philadelphia, where he serves as chair of the firm's Sports Industry team and is a member of the Commercial Litigation Department and White Collar Defense & Investigations practice group. He specializes in representing corporations and individuals in high-stakes civil litigation, crisis management, and criminal defense matters, with experience handling cases involving shareholder actions, contractual disputes, Title IX, civil rights claims, political corruption, and health care fraud. His practice is informed by his prior experience as an attorney at the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where he represented indigent criminal defendants. Hunt earned his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His accomplishments include being named Pennsylvania Attorney of the Year by The Legal Intelligencer, selection as a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, recognition as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer every year since 2010, and consistent inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Temple University Beasley School of Law, teaching Integrated Trial Advocacy for over a decade.

Distinguished Speaker: Jennifer Coatsworth
Jennifer Coatsworth is a partner at Margolis Edelstein in Philadelphia, where she specializes in civil litigation defense, including professional liability, consumer fraud, motor vehicle, and premises liability matters . She has litigated hundreds of cases from both plaintiff and defense perspectives, with a particular focus on defending real estate agents, home inspectors, and accountants . Her experience also includes obtaining summary judgment dismissals in wrongful death and product liability cases. She earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she served as president of the Jewish Law Students Association, and her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Maryland Honors Program . Her accomplishments include serving as the 97th Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association (2024), recognition as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer (2022-2024) and Rising Star (2011-2018), an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and numerous leadership awards including the Lynette Norton Award from the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Ally of the Year Award from the Philadelphia LGBTQ Bar Association.

Ellen Brotman is the founder of BrotmanLaw PLLC, a firm with offices in Philadelphia and Washington D.C., where she specializes in attorney discipline defense, ethics counseling, and white-collar criminal defense. She leverages over two decades of experience representing lawyers before Pennsylvania's Disciplinary Board, a practice built upon her prior career as an assistant federal defender and a partner at Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP, where she focused on federal criminal cases. Her professional standing is underscored by her role as a Special Advisor to the American Bar Association's Standing Committee for Ethics and Professional Responsibility and consistent recognition since 2007 in The Best Lawyers in America and as a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer"

Distinguished Speaker: Mindee J Ruben
Mindee J. Reuben is a partner in the Philadelphia office of Hausfeld, specializing in representing plaintiffs in complex antitrust and consumer class action litigation across the United States. She frequently serves as lead, co-lead, or liaison counsel in high-profile, multi-district cases, with a track record of securing significant settlements such as $2.67 billion in the Blue Cross Blue Shield litigation and $130 million in the Processed Egg Products litigation. Her educational background includes a J.D. and an M.P.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.A. from Indiana University. Her accomplishments include consistent recognition in The Best Lawyers in America and by Chambers and Partners, as well as repeated honors from Super Lawyers, which has named her among the Top 50 Women and Top 100 lawyers in Pennsylvania.

Distinguished Speaker: John R. Padova
John R. Padova (born 1935) is a senior United States district judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He was nominated by President George H. W. Bush in November 1991 to a newly authorized seat and was confirmed by the Senate in March 1992. Padova served more than 15 years as an active judge before assuming senior status in February 2008, during which time he authored 93 published opinions and presided over thousands of civil and criminal cases. Prior to his judicial appointment, he maintained a private law practice in Philadelphia for over three decades, earning a strong reputation as a trial attorney in both state and federal courts. He received his J.D. from Temple University School of Law in 1959 and also served in the U.S. Army Reserve and the New Jersey Army National Guard.

Distinguished Speaker: Adam S. Getson
Adam S. Getson is a distinguished Partner at Wapner Newman, P.C., specializing in Plaintiffs' Civil Trial Litigation, with a focus on Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury law. Since 2003, Mr. Getson has successfully represented injured victims in a wide array of complex matters, including motor vehicle accidents, product liability, and nursing home neglect, and he is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He earned his Juris Doctor from Widener School of Law after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, and he also studied International Law at the University of Technology Sydney. His professional excellence is recognized by numerous accolades, including an AV Preeminent® Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, selection to The National Trial Lawyers Association: Top 100 since 2012, and being named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer (2020–2026) and a Rising Star (2012–2018).
